Our Year 9 students recently had an engaging experience with a WWI “Living History” incursion led by Shane Blackman. The session vividly illustrated the realities of trench warfare through interactive storytelling and hands-on learning.
Students had the chance to explore various WWI artefacts, selecting items that sparked their interest. They asked thoughtful questions, and some even had the opportunity to dress up in authentic soldier uniforms! Shane’s expertise and humour made learning about one of the most significant events in modern history both educational and memorable.
