The Evangelisation and Catechesis Team has been hard at work, getting ready for the Belong Day on last Tuesday. This special event is a joyful way to welcome our new Year 7 students into the Catholic community of Broken Bay. It aims to support and encourage them on their faith journey, offering a chance to experience the broader Catholic community beyond St Brigid’s.
We were pleased to have Simon and Michael from Catholic Schools Broken Bay join us for a training session with our Year 10 and 11 students, who will be leading some of the activities for the Year 7 students. Additionally, the Year 7 students attended an information session to prepare for the Belong Day and received a copy of the New Testament from Gideons International Australia.
