Last term was an exciting opportunity for our College to connect with St Nicholas Pathways to provide Child Studies students who had a keen interest in child care an opportunity to experience the Early Childhood Industry Immersion program.
As part of the program, students travelled to Maitland once per week for a duration of four weeks to take an active role in helping facilitate the early education centre and concluded each day in various workshops that focused on building creativity, communication, reflective and enterprise skills.
Students had a great time completing the program, complete with a certificate of recognition and we can’t wait for the next group of students to complete the program next year.
Well done to all students who represented the College to an exemplar standard and thank you to Mrs Kuziow for building our industry partnerships within the community.
