Earlier this term, students from Stage 5 and 6 Agriculture had the opportunity to speak with Angus Campbell from BE Campbell about the pork industry in Australia. Angus gave the students insights into how the company has grown over the past 50 years, the impacts of consumer preferences on the industry and his career journey. The event deepened student understanding of value-adding in agriculture and the many pathways and opportunities available in the pork production industry.
We thank Angus and BE Campbell for their time on the day and look forward to sampling some pork products in future lessons.
