Our Year 8 students have just participated in a trek and adventure reminiscent of the Amazing Race, contained entirely within the beautiful natural habitats of our local area. Students were grouped into their houses and required to plan their route through a number of checkpoints before arriving at the campsite at Freeman’s Camp ground, where they set up for the night, engaged in camp games and served dinner to their fellow students.
On the second day, students departed the campsite in the morning and trekked their way through the national park to Catherine Hill Bay, where they made lunch, played beach games and departed for a well-earned rest, before trekking the final leg up to Catherine Hill Bay Cemetery to be picked up by parents and guardians.
