All teachers know all students and this has helped to create a welcoming college climate. Our families have been very supportive of our new college and attendance at sporting events and parent information evenings has been particularly high.
St Brigid’s is a part of St Mary’s, Toukley parish with a parish centre on the grounds of St Brendan’s Catholic Primary school situated just across the road. Fr Tomy, our Parish Priest, is a great supporter of our college and the college has attended a number of parish functions so far.
Some of our parents attended a morning tea to establish a Parent Network and it is hoped that, in time, this group will grow and will be actively involved in creating home/school partnerships.
